Durand cup 2023 quarterfinal :  The final match of Durand Cup 2023  will be played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on September 3. 

The line-up for the quarter-finals of the 132nd Durand Cup was announced in Kolkata on Tuesday after  the local organising committee and representatives of the eight qualified teams conducted a virtual draw. 

The decision to move the first quarter final from Kokrajhar to Guwahati was also taken in view of the increased playing conditions due to bad weather conditions.

East Bengal emerged as Group A winners while Mumbai City, Gokulam Kerala, FC Goa, Chennaiyin and Indian Army booked their place in the quarterfinals as Group B  to F winners. NorthEast United and Mohun Bagan SG emerged as the best runners-up from Group D and A respectively. 

The lineups for the 132nd IndianOil Durand Cup quarter-finals to be played at 6:00 p.m. at all sites are as follows: 

Durand cup 2023 QuarterFinal 1 – (24 August 2023 at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati): NorthEast United FC vs Indian Army

Durand cup 2023 QuarterFinal 2 – (25 August 2023, Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata): East Bengal FC vs Gokulam Kerala FC 

Durand cup 2023 QuarterFinal 3 – (26 August 2023 at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati): FC Goa vs Chennaiyin FC . 

Durand cup 2023 QuarterFinal 4 – (August 27, 2023, Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata): Mohun Bagan SuperGiant vs Mumbai City FC 

A video chat was held with representatives of all eight qualifying clubs following the conclusion of the Indian Army Football Team vs. Rajasthan United FC Group F match on Monday evening in Kokrajhar.

They witnessed a live draw that resulted in the elimination of four teams from Guwahati and four teams from Kolkata. 

Durand Cup 2023 QuarterFinal Teams: 

East Bengal FC: Carles Cuadrati’s side put in a remarkable performance in their last two group stage matches.They overcame a disheartening 2-2 tie against Bangladesh Army in their opening by defeating both the ISL and I-League champions. As a result, the red and gold team rose to the top of Group A with seven points and secured a place in the quarterfinals. 

Mohun Bagan Super Giant:  Mariners entered the quarter-finals as one of the top two runners-up after beating Mohammedan SC on superior goal difference.  

Mumbai City FC: The islanders have advanced to the next round at the top of their group after winning three of their first three games. 

Gokulam Kerala FC: With two victories from two games, Gokulam Kerala advanced to the quarterfinals and topped the group with one game remaining.

FC Goa: The Gaurs booked their place in the quarter-finals at the top of Group D.  

NorthEast United FC: A remarkable 3-1 comeback win against Downtown Heroes in the last game ensures  the Highlanders have secured their place in the quarter-finals as one of the top two runners-up. 

Chennaiyin FC: The Super Machans entered the quarter finals with a perfect winning record.  

Indian Army:  Indian Army secured the top position in their group after two wins from their opening two matches. Even a draw in their last match against Rajasthan United FC will help them advance to the next round. Even if a loss results in elimination.
