The new V-series smartphone entered the nation on Friday, according to a tweet from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Flipkart will indeed be offering the Vivo V29e for purchase. The phone is rumoured to have an optical image stabilisation (OIS)-capable 64-megapixel back camera sensor.It looks to feature a hole-punch cutout in the centre of a curved display. A Snapdragon 400-series CPU from Qualcomm might power the Vivo V29e.
According to a teaser graphic posted by the firm on X (previously Twitter), the new Vivo V29e will be unveiled in India on August 28. At 12 IST, the launch ceremony will start. Additionally, the company has started contacting reporters about the launch. Flipkart will sell the smartphone, according to confirmation.
Vivo has revealed the design of the device through renderings released on the microblogging site. There is a microsite that lists the company’s specifications on the company’s India website.
The Vivo V29e is displayed to have a curved screen and a hole-punch cutout in the centre of the screen for the selfie camera. The device is advertised as being the slimmest phone with a 3D curved screen that costs between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000.
A dual back camera system with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and OIS capability is visible on the Vivo V29e. It is hinted that it would have a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It is confirmed that the phone will come in artistic red and blue colour options and include a rear glass panel that can change colour.
However, the Artistic Red edition will be the only one to provide the color-changing feature. It is claimed to have a 180.5 gramme weight and a 7.57 mm thin profile.
The Vivo V29e will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage options, according to a prior leak. It might come with FunTouchOS 13, which could run on Android 13. The gadget is anticipated to be powered by a Snapdragon 480 5G SoC or the Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC. The phone is anticipated to have a 4,600mAh battery with 80W charging capabilities.
A near relative of the Vivo V29 Lite 5G, which was introduced in the Czech Republic in June of this year, may be the Vivo V29e.
