IndiGo Airlines : Passengers of Delhi-Chennai airline tried to open emergency door held by CISF

IndiGo Airlines : The man,  identified as Manikandan, was later handed over to  Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials on arrival at the Chennai airport and CISF officials arrested him  after receiving information about the incident. 

In an unusual incident, an IndiGo Airlines Delhi-Chennai passenger tried to open the plane’s emergency hatch in the early hours of Wednesday morning. According to media reports, the incident took place on IndiGo flight 6E 6341, which departed from Delhi on Tuesday evening. 

The man,  identified as Manikandan, was later handed over to  Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials on arrival at the Chennai airport and CISF officials arrested him  after receiving information about the incident. 

In addition, the IndiGo authorities filed a formal complaint  against the man. Further investigation  is underway. 

“On arrival, our team identified one passenger who tried to open the emergency exit. An unattended passenger form was filled, so as per procedure we will file a complaint at the police station. We request your team to deputize CISF officials to escort the passenger to the police station,” said a letter written to  CISF officials on Wednesday. in an official letter.
