According to various online leaks, the OnePlus Open is expected to  debut on October 19, ushering in a new era of innovation for the brand. According to a report by WinFuture, the yet-to-be-launched OnePlus Open is likely to be available in striking black and light green colours. The smartphone is estimated to be priced at $1,699 (roughly Rs. 141,405), making it  slightly more affordable  compared to the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.  The speculated specifications of  OnePlus Open suggest a remarkable photography experience. The device is expected to have a triple rear camera that may include a periscope lens for increased zoom capabilities. In addition, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor promises convenient opening, while a screen with a pinhole camera adds a modern look to the design. 

The OnePlus Open is rumoured to get an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset under the hood, which ensures strong and smooth performance. It is expected to run on  Android 13 operating system customised with OnePlus’ OxygenOS Fold UI for a smooth and efficient user experience.  In anticipation of this amazing launch, OnePlus India has started official tests for the OnePlus Open on its X handle (formerly known as Twitter).
