Tata Nexon Facelift :  Rear Design Leaked! i20-like tail lights, new bumper and more

Must Read

Tata Nexon Facelift : While it is no secret that Tata Motors is working on another facelift for the Nexon, the news is yet to be officially confirmed by the domestic automaker. But the spying from the test piers continues as the test reveals more and more details about the updated sub-4m SUV ahead of its rumoured September 14 launch. The undisclosed prototype of the very first Nexon facelift has been fully spied.

reveals the rear design of the SUV!

First, the new Nexon gets all-new LED lighting reminiscent of the current generation i20. The taillight has LED-treated larger and smaller symbols connected by a red ribbon that may or may not light up. The tail lights definitely help the Nexon look even more mature, while the unpainted plastic part of the rear bumper also adds some boldness. It’s possible that the prototype here is  an entry-level or mid-range model, as there’s no visible rear camera  and the door handles also appear to have been left unpainted.

The previous Tata Nexon facelift prototype  also unveiled the  front end design with a brand new facelift. It has a split headlight design similar to  other Tata SUVs like Harrier, Safari and Punch. The LED DRLs  at the front were accompanied by a black strip that also featured the Tata logo.

The interior is expected to be higher quality than the outgoing model, with a new centre console with touch-sensitive HVAC and a new gearbox. The biggest addition is probably the  new flat-bottomed two-spoke steering wheel with  illuminated logo and central screen with touch-sensitive buttons.
