TVS Apache RTR 310 : TVS has released another teaser of its upcoming street fighter Apache RTR 310. The new video reveals quite a few design details and hints at a very sharp and aggressive body structure. It shows the front left side profile of the Apache RTR 310, reminiscent of a certain Italian superbike, and the tail looks sleek and sharp.
The upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 will come with a new split LED headlamp along with an updated fuel tank and is likely to be quite compact as well. Also, the seat of the chair seems to be quite small, which can feel a bit uncomfortable. The production model could be equipped with a wish-mounted ring diameter that functions as a licence plate holder. Some test piers seen earlier were fitted with this arrangement. Although the teaser shows the bike with a small end exhaust, the final model would have the same exhaust as the current RR 310.
TVS uses a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine in the new RTR 310 that produces 33.5 PS at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm at 7,700 rpm. This is the same engine that the RR 310 is equipped with. The engine is connected to a six-speed gearbox. Then the rider’s triangle looks quite attractive, because the feet are pulled back, but the rider is sitting straight. Like its siblings, the Apache RTR 310 is packed with features. From LED lighting to an all-digital console and smartphone connectivity, the new bare-bones TVS motorcycle is likely to come with all the bells and whistles.
Its hardware consists of USD front forks and a monoshock, while the braking setup includes front and rear discs with dual-channel ABS. The Apache RTR 310 rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in road-oriented rubber.
The Apache RTR 310 will debut on 6th September 2023. Its bookings are expected to start soon after the official launch and we expect the asking price to be around Rs. 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It also competes with KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R and KTM 250 Duke.
