Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G Launch in India on August 3: Samsung Confirms Price, Features and Availability

Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will launch in India on August 3, 2026, expanding its F-series lineup in the country’s highly competitive mid-range smartphone market. Ahead of the launch event, the company has revealed the handset’s pricing, storage variants, display details, battery capacity, and camera specifications, giving consumers a complete picture of what to expect before sales begin.

The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will be available in three variants. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 25,999, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB version will retail for Rs. 29,999. Buyers looking for additional storage can opt for the 8GB RAM + 256GB model, which carries a price tag of Rs. 34,999. Samsung has also confirmed that the smartphone will be offered in Alpha Black and Aura Green colour options. Although these are the official introductory prices, the company has hinted that launch offers and bank discounts will be announced when the device goes on sale through Flipkart.

On the front, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G features a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling, vibrant colours, and an improved viewing experience. The screen is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, offering better durability against accidental drops and scratches. Samsung believes this premium display could become one of the phone’s strongest selling points, especially in a segment where some competing devices continue to use LCD panels.

For performance, Samsung has confirmed that the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, although the exact chipset has not yet been disclosed. The device combines the processor with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, a combination designed to improve multitasking, faster app loading, and overall system responsiveness. This hardware setup is expected to provide a smooth experience for everyday tasks as well as gaming and entertainment.

The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G also focuses on photography with a triple rear camera system. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), supported by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Samsung has confirmed support for 4K video recording, while the front-facing camera comes with HDR support to improve selfies and video calls under different lighting conditions.

Battery life is another major highlight of the smartphone. Samsung has packed a 6,000mAh battery inside the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G, along with support for 45W wired fast charging. According to the company, the battery is capable of delivering more than 24 hours of YouTube streaming, over eight hours of gaming, or around 12 hours of social media usage on a single charge. Actual battery backup, however, may vary depending on individual usage and network conditions.

With a starting price of Rs. 25,999, the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G enters a crowded smartphone segment where it will compete with offerings from brands like OnePlus, iQOO, and Motorola. Samsung is aiming to differentiate the device through its AMOLED display, large battery, camera with optical image stabilisation, and trusted One UI software experience. While the specifications appear promising on paper, its real-world performance and value for money will become clearer once the smartphone is officially available and independent reviews are published.
