Motorola has added another tablet to its portfolio in India with the launch of the Moto Pad 70. The new model focuses on a combination of a large high-resolution display, powerful battery, fast charging and stylus support.
Unlike some tablets that require users to purchase a stylus separately, Motorola is bundling the Moto Pen with the Moto Pad 70. The tablet will be available in India starting August 15.
Moto Pad 70 Price in India and Availability
The Moto Pad 70 is priced at ₹33,999 in India. It comes in a Pantone Titan Sea Angel finish.
Motorola will sell the tablet through Flipkart, Motorola’s online store and selected retail outlets from August 15.
12.1-Inch 2.5K Display With 90Hz Refresh Rate
The Moto Pad 70 features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display designed for watching videos, browsing the web and getting work done on a larger screen.
The panel supports a 90Hz refresh rate, while Motorola claims coverage of 96% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Brightness can reach up to 800 nits, which should make the display more suitable for different lighting conditions.
The tablet measures just 6.29mm in thickness and weighs approximately 530 grams.
MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Powers the Tablet
Under the hood, the Moto Pad 70 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers up to 256GB of built-in storage.
Users can further expand storage using a microSD card, with support for capacities of up to 2TB.
On the software front, the tablet ships with Android 16. Motorola has confirmed an upgrade to Android 17, along with three years of security updates.
10,200mAh Battery and 68W Fast Charging
Battery life is another major highlight of the Moto Pad 70. The tablet packs a 10,200mAh battery, giving it plenty of capacity for extended media consumption and everyday usage.
A 68W charger is included in the retail box, so buyers do not need to purchase a compatible fast charger separately.
For audio, Motorola has equipped the device with four speakers featuring Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
Moto Pen Comes in the Box
The Moto Pad 70 is also aimed at users who want to take handwritten notes or create digital content. The Moto Pen is included with the tablet, providing an out-of-the-box stylus experience.
The accessory can be useful for note-taking, sketching and other tasks where touch input alone may not be convenient.
13MP Rear Camera and Smart Connect
For photography, the tablet features a 13-megapixel rear camera, while an 8-megapixel camera is placed on the front for video calls and selfies.
Motorola’s Smart Connect feature is also included. It allows the tablet to interact with compatible Motorola smartphones and PCs, helping users move between devices and access content across the ecosystem.
