Samsung Galaxy A57 5G & A37 5G Launched: Galaxy AI Comes to Mid-Range with Premium Design and Killer Cameras

Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G today, March 26, 2026, expanding its popular A-series with meaningful upgrades focused on AI smarts, refined builds, and everyday performance. Aimed at users who want flagship-like experiences without the flagship cost, these phones will go on sale starting April 9 in most markets (April 10 in India and select regions).

The launch highlights Samsung’s “Awesome Intelligence” – its rebranded Galaxy AI suite – now trickling down to more affordable devices. “We’re making advanced AI accessible to everyone,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Device eXperience. Both models launch with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, backed by six years of OS upgrades and security patches.

Premium Feels at Mid-Range Prices

The Galaxy A57 5G steals the show with its ultra-slim 6.9mm profile and 179g weight, featuring an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both front and back for a truly premium in-hand feel. It carries IP68 dust and water resistance. The more budget-friendly Galaxy A37 5G measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 196g with a plastic frame but keeps the same tough glass and IP68 rating.

Color options pop with the “Awesome” vibe: A57 5G in Navy, Gray, Icy Blue, and Lilac; A37 5G in Charcoal, Lavender, Gray Green, and White. Both sport a clean triple-camera layout on the back.

Bright Displays, Solid Performance

Both phones feature 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED screens with up to 1,900 nits peak brightness. The A57 5G steps up with an enhanced Super AMOLED+ panel and HDR10+ support for richer visuals. Under the hood, the A57 5G runs on Samsung’s new 4nm Exynos 1680 with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the A37 5G uses the Exynos 1480 with 6-12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. A bigger vapor chamber on the A57 keeps things cool during gaming.

Camera Setup with AI Superpowers

The star attraction is the 50MP main sensor (OIS-equipped) on both models, delivering excellent low-light shots thanks to Nightography. The A57 5G gets a 12MP ultrawide lens (123° field of view), while the A37 5G has an 8MP version; both include a 5MP macro. Selfies are handled by a 12MP front camera.

Galaxy AI takes photography to the next level with tools like Best Face, Object Eraser, Edit Suggestions, and Auto Trim for videos. The A57 5G’s improved image processor further boosts detail and color accuracy.

Battery, Features & Smart Extras

A 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging powers both phones (optional charger needed for full speed). You also get stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint sensors, and full 5G support. Awesome Intelligence includes Circle to Search, Voice Transcription, AI Select, and deeper Bixby/Gemini integration for smarter daily use.

Pricing and India Availability

  • Galaxy A57 5G: Starts at ₹58,999 (8GB/128GB) in India; around $549 in the US.
  • Galaxy A37 5G: Starts at ₹47,999 (6GB/128GB) in India; around $449 in the US.

Higher storage variants are available at a slight premium. Pre-orders are open now on Samsung.com, Amazon, and major retail partners across India, with full availability from April 10. Carrier bundles and bank offers are expected to sweeten the deal.

Why It Matters

Samsung has nailed the sweet spot with the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G – delivering pro-grade AI, durable builds, and vibrant displays without breaking the bank. The A57 5G feels like a mini flagship for power users, while the A37 5G offers unbeatable value for students and first-time upgraders.
