Pakistan World Cup Squad : Cricket World Cup 2023: Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq on Friday announced the 15-member ODI World Cup squad that will travel to India.
The issue was announced at a press conference held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Inzamam-ul-Haq also revealed three reserve players who will travel with the team to India and can call up the squad in case of injuries.
With this announcement, 8 of the 10 teams participating in the ICC World Cup 2023 have announced their 15-man squads for the ODI World Cup starting next month.
Only Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the two remaining teams that are yet to announce their squad for the CWC 2023 tournament. Pakistan World Cup squad.

Inzamam had this to say after the selection of the ICC Cricket World Cup squad: “The World Cup is the most important event in any cricketer’s life and I want to congratulate all the cricketers who made it into the squad with impressive performances. The team did excellently in the last two years and hence we have shown our faith in the same.”
“We had to make one change due to Naseem Shah’s unfortunate injury. We had a few injury scares in the recent Asia Cup but I am happy to say that all the players are fully fit and eager to play in a very important tournament for their country. … I have received encouraging reports from our medical college in Hari Of Rauf. He started (shadow bowling) at the National Cricket Academy and is in selection,” Inzamam said. “I firmly believe that this team can bring the World Cup trophy to Pakistan and make the entire nation proud with their incredible performances. It’s time to support your team and give them the support they need,” he added.
As of September 22, the following teams announced their 15-man provisional squads for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.

According to the rules set by the ICC, all ten teams must announce their 15-man squads by September 28. Exchanges made after this date will only be approved by the ICC Board of Directors.
