Redmi Note 13 : Earlier today, Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand made official the Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro, along with the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which we’ve already covered.
The Note 13 has a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 120Hz AMOLED display, 1000 nits brightness, 2160mAh sample rate and 1920Hz PWM dimming. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6080 SoC and comes in four RAM/storage combination variants: 6/128GB, 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB. RAM is LPDDR4X and storage is UFS 2.2.
The main rear camera has a resolution of 100 megapixels with a pixel size of 0.64 μm and does 9-in-1 binning. It is flanked by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and on the front is a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies. The phone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging. It measures 161.11 x 74.95 x 7.6 mm and weighs 173.5 g.
It is offered in three colours, Star Sand, Midnight Dark and Time Blue. The Redmi Note 13 can be purchased for CNY 1,099 (about $150 at the current exchange rate).
The Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s just-announced Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 together with 8/12/16GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of storage. It has a 6.67-inch 1220 x 2712120 Hz display with a 2160 Hz sampling rate and 1920 Hz PWM dimming, an under-display fingerprint sensor, a 200-megapixel main camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL HP3 megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel super- sensor camera HP3. 2-megapixel macro camera, 16-megapixel front-facing camera and 5100mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging.
Four colour versions are available, machine translated as Midnight Dark, Time Blue, Shallow Dream and Star Sand White. It is priced at CNY 1,399 (about US$192). Both run MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Today’s release was only in China, so it’s unclear when these models will arrive in other locations – or if they’ll stay exactly the same.
