Before going to India, we were coming, the rain saved today. We passed India, luckily the rain stopped. (I came to watch the match, we are all waiting, India and Pakistan fans. The rain saved us, the other day the rain saved India, but today the rain saved us!), Akhtar was heard saying in a video that has been lost. viral social media.
we can continue this game tomorrow at the same venue and we have taken a wise decision not to bowl first,” he added.

India were 147-2 in the 50-over contest on Monday after the rain ended abruptly and after Pakistan decided to bat first in Colombo.
